Still one of my favorite bands

I used to play their songs in a top forty band...

The story goes that when I had moved to Los Angeles in 1979 I started to play with many locals projects until I stumbled upon some players that would introduce me to

Pete Comita, Micki Free, and John Brant

All of the Illinois area.  I ended up playing with Pete first and then Micki and John in the same band later.  Well time had passed and after my stint in the band  I ended up with 707 and both Pete and then John ended up playing bass for Cheap Trick .  That is how they came to know  about me.
