Dancing Through the Pain

Words and music by Tod Howarth copyright 2007-2010

     I’ve been living for awhile,

     And the questions never end,

     But there’s no easy answers,

     Who’s to say it’s wrong,

     And what’s this passion for,

     ‘Feel I’m wasting precious time,

I, love to feel the heat,

I need to read the eyes,

     ‘Hear you whisper this way…

And feed upon desire and feast upon your heart,

     Then just, fly away…

     Climbing as I fall,

     The horror never ends,

     And I’m bleeding,

     Dancing through the pain,

     Wincing through it all,

     But I’m feeling nothing…

     I can’t breath,

     I can’t hear,

And my pulse is doing double time,

The dreams are all the same,

     Through eyes of some undead,

     And the hunger grips me…

     What’s the parallel,

     And why’s this life sublime,

     Am I only really sleeping…

     Climbing while I fall,

     The horror never ends,

     And I’m bleeding…

     Dancing through the pain,

     Wincing from it all,

     While I’m feeling nothing…

     Climbing while I fall,

     The story never ends,

     And I’m bleeding…

     Dying from the pain,

     Flying through it all,

     Still I’m feeling nothing…
